Hi everyone, Ive been trying to trace my family ancestors for the last six months and the brick walls I have come up against all seem to have Irish names, Gillon,Hannah,Dillon,Ellis and Shaw. I thought if I cant find them then I can always keep up the Irish connection by getting an Epal.LoL. My name is Margaret Mc Neil and I live in Bonnie Scotland, I have a lot of boring hobbies, love getting to know people and meeting new friends even on the Epal message board. I love cats and Glasgow Celtic. If that doesnt put you off then please contact me at manmcneil@yahoo.co.uk

Hi, I'm looking for the family line of Michael O'Brien born abt 1802, possibly in Galway, Civil Parish Lambeth I think, his spouse's name was Ellen. Michael and Ellen had a son Michael T. who I think was born in Clare County, Ireland abt 1846 and passed in Waterford, NY, USA. Michael T.'s wife was named Margaret Kelley. They might have also had a daughter named Mary Anne. If anyone has any information on Michael O'Brien or can tell me how to go about getting information please contact me at wyllowsdragon@aol.com. Thank you!

Sarah McCoy - 09:17pm Jun 3, 2010 Irish (#15 of 15)
hi everybody. I'm Sarah from Tennessee USA. I am born of the Johnston family. My line went to Northern Ireland and my three times great grandfather was Zachariah Johnston. He and three of his brothers came over to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1798. He was born in 1784 which would make him 14 when he came over. I'm surprised he came without his parents, but that's what I read. Anyway, I would love to have a penpal of my ilk to talk to about genealogy and just to become friends. If you are a male, please have your wife write. I am not looking for men friends, thank you so much.
